1. Visa extention applicants shall submit the application at Exit-Entry Administration Divisions of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau within the prescribed time limit in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Administration of the Entry and Exit of Foreigners.
2. You shall obtain the new visa within 5 working days once you are informed of the date by the Public Security Bureau.
3. Within 3 working days of picking up your new visa, please bring it to International Students’ Department to put it on file Otherwise, we cannot provide you with any certificate. During holidays, you may email the scanned copy of your new visa to the International Students’ Department and submit the photocopy of it when the semester begins.
4. The visa shall be automatically cancelled for truancy of 5 consecutive days or a total 10 days of absence .
5. Please register on time at the beginning of each semester. If you don’t notify us in advance and fail to register at the office within 15 days, your visa will be automatically cancelled.
6. Once the visa is automatically cancelled, you will no longer be able to stay in China or enter China again. Otherwise, you shall assume the consequences for illegal entry and residence.
