About RMB
In China, only Renminbi is in circulation. The unit of Renminbi is Yuan, and the fractional money is Jiao and Fen. The abbreviation of Renminbi is RMB.
There are six common currencies: 100 yuan, 50 yuan, 20 yuan, 10 yuan, 5 yuan and 1 yuan and 1 jiao.
Notice: The fifth new edition RMB of China was published formally on November 12th, 2015.
Exchange Money
The foreign currencies, such as Pound, Hongkong dollar, U. S. dollar, Euro, Yen, Canadian dollar and Australian dollar can all be changed into RMB.
There are seven kinds of Credit Card of foreign currency that can be exchanged at the designated Exchange Counter. There are as follows.

On campus, there are ATM Machine of some banks, such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of Communications and Agricultural Bank of China. There are Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, and Agricultural Bank of China near the university, where you can deposit money, withdraw money and open an account. Please take your passport when you open an account. Bank of China and Bank of Communications can exchange foreign currency. Please show your passport when exchanging money. You can consult the bank on specific questions.

Express Service
Many express companies, such as SF Express, STO Express, ZTO Express, BEST Express, YTO Express, YUNDA Express, TTK Express, all have business point in SISU, where you can handle different kinds of express in-and-out services in China. There are two express comprehensive business points in our university, located at a place across the school infirmary under the mountain and at a place beside the school canteen up the mountain. Most of the studying and life place of foreign students is on East Campus under the mountain. So, if you want to send something by express, go to the Express Department across the school infirmary directly.
