Cultural_Tour
On September 26th, 2015, 43 Scholarship students in SISU visited Dazu Rock Carvings for cultural study and directly experienced the unique charming of this world cultural heritage.
Scholarship students carefully inspected every statue of Buddha, minutely learned their cultural connotation and impressively appreciated the extensive and profound Buddhist culture. They were deeply impressed by vivid stone carving and exquisite niches and statues of Buddha. In the “Yuanjue Bodhimanda” Cave, they were very interested in the drainage function of the dragon head carving. They bowed before the three Buddha called “Huayan” and were attracted by the story of relic pagoda. At the Big Buddha Bay, they stopped for a long time and sang praises of the exquisite carvings and deeply appreciated the unique charming of this world cultural heritage.
This cultural study has given vivid and deep impression to the students and they also have experienced the unique charming of carving art, well comprehended the extensive and profound Buddhist culture and further learned Chongqing and Bayu culture.
